As-salaam alaykum! Happy May! This time of year is always exciting rehearsing new pieces, performing at a variety of events, and preparing for summer. It’s also the end of the school year, the energy is buzzing, the baby animals are running around, and the jasmine is blooming. This and…Falastin is still under constant attack, Lebanon is being brutally bombed, Iran is still executing citizens, ICE detention centers are overcrowded in completely inhumane conditions, no one from the Epstein files has been held accountable, AI data centers are taking over open spaces stealing water from local communities…life in this current time is to hold these extremes, stretch our hearts to feel both the joy and grief, find the hope to step up AND the rage to fight for our better world. It is why we dance. It is why we hope you find a way to as well. Keep dancing friends and thank you for your support always! May we dream a world where we all belong and make it so.
